Membership

Membership
Anyone is welcome to join Wisconsin's Alpha Pack as a member. There are no annual dues. To become a member, fill out our printable membership form and mail the completed form to our main office. We are open to all interested in learning about Alpha-1, thus membership is not required to attend meetings.

Newsletter
The Alpha Pack News is a 2 page circular created by Wisconsin's Alpha Pack for our members and the public.  We began publishing June 2003.  The publication is free and available by email (as a PDF) or by U.S. Post (as a hard copy).  For U.S. Postal Subscribers, we ask for a small donation of $5 per fiscal year (every June) to help with stamps and hard copy print.  Click here to Subscribe.

Mailings
Members can be notified by our main office of the upcoming regional meetings, events, or activities.  Members can choose either email (PDF file) or U.S. mail (Print copy).  If you wish to stop mailings, please contact our main office to “Opt Out”.  Note: if you “Opt Out” you will not be able to nominate or vote for Board candidates during an election period.  See “Structure, Nominations, and Voting” below.

Privacy
A member’s medical and contact information is private. We will not disclose it to other members, organizations, or industry.  Should a support-related-need arise to share information, we will contact the member for their permission.  If you feel your information has been disclosed without permission, please contact our main office. A member’s contact information will be filed at our main office.  For changes to your existing information, please contact our office.

Structure, Nominations, and Voting
We are not a 501(c)6, our Board cannot promote a business.  We are not a 501(c)4, our Board cannot engage in lobbying.  We are a 501(c)3 charity for support and education.  Members have the right to nominate and vote for our 501(c)3 Board.  Members who “Opt Out” from mailings cannot vote. Regardless as to whether a member chooses mail or email, voting will be handled by the U.S. Postal system. A ballot will be sent to a member’s U.S. Postal address from our main office. Elections are held every 4 years or when a position opens.

Complaints, Concerns, or Compliments
