Our mission is to offer family and individual support and awareness for A1AD through meetings, events, screenings, and news. Because hospices are required to have community volunteers provide 5% of hospice hours, volunteers are especially important. For example, volunteers could contribute specialty services such as massage therapy, music therapy, art therapy, or pet therapy to a local hospice program. Confidential & Free Screenings With the help of local physicians, Wisconsin’s Alpha Pack now offers confidential and free testing for the genetic condition Alpha-1 Antitrypsin Deficiency by becoming a point-of-service screening site. If you are interested in being tested for Alpha-1, please contact our main office to obtain a screening kit. To search for your record, CLICK HERE Road Jersey Designs through the Pack Wisconsin's Alpha Pack now has two road jersey designs available for the bicyclist wanting to promote Alpha-1 awareness through cycling events. The designs are: Spoke'n and Eclipse. The jersey features our logo on the front and Alpha-1 information on the back. The fit is pro with a raglan sleeve, 9 inch front zipper, and lower back pockets.
